Hey guys! It's time for your weekly newsletter. Be sure to come to next week's meeting to pay dues or eventually we will stop sending you newsletters! Also, we're going to start looking at different types of competitions so drop by to get a head start.

Our next meeting will be after school, Thursday, September 9, 2004 in Room S263 (Mrs. Ghosh's room). The meeting will mainly be for:

Signing up on the roster
Paying dues ($5)
Getting ready for future competitions

We have quite a few contests coming up soon so make sure you mark your calendars to come take those tests and win!

P.S. Math Club this year will be more fun than ever. Not only will we attend competitions all over the city, but also expect to get to know the other club members. We will have parties sometimes and it's good if you know everyone else. So here's some work to do before our next meeting.

Weekly Assignment:

Go and find 3 people in Math Club that you do not know and introduce yourself to them. Get to know that person and try to be friends with that person. Then go find another person in Math Club to talk to. Try to meet more than 3 people. Good luck!
