*A note on Mandelbrot dates: theoretically, the contest may be given at any time during the week. Hopefully, the predicted calendar will not create any conflicts. However, in case it does, the contest may be moved to another day of the week — both the newsletters and the website will reflect any changes as soon as they occur.
Summary:
- The contests are held after school.
- Individual rounds are typically on Thursdays.
- Team rounds are typically on Wednesdays.
- If you cannot come after school but would like to take the test, please contact the officers.
- Each round lasts 40 minutes.
- There are 7 questions per individual round and 5 proof-based questions per team round.
- Calculators are not allowed.
- Rulers, compasses, and graph paper are allowed on team tests only
